thanks folks for the comments,i used the most knarley wood i could find to build this thing,the tone i get is from combining the 2 plates together,the top plate floats and is not attached to anything but the bottom plate with 8 bolts and the bottom plate is attached to the neck with 2 very small screws. thanks again for your comments.

That tone just blows me away.  Beautiful with just a hint of Canadian and Cajun accent.  I would not have expected it to sound so good.  Cool neck and fret board.
