thanks Hollowbelly!...and both Marks : -) Yeah I'm curious to know what the timber is as well!...I have no idea having found it down there by the river. I didn't cut it or anything, just thought it looked about right...it's about 25" from the nut to the bridge

A cool build with and a great sound - and a nicely done vid too. Love the stone nut and the tin, they look perfect. I'm curious to know what the timber is and the scale length?
Can't wait to see what you've got planned with No.2.

NICE! I really like it...I'm planning on making a diddley bow one of these days, I think I just might copy some of your design. Also nice playing. Can't wait to see #2!
