hey man everything i have seen you build is always top notch first class and it is hard fer a guy like me to keep up with all the top notch folks like yerself ,so i am constantly finding more cool looking stuff to try and keep up with the great builders like yerself, because i am always inspired by guys like you.thanks fer your comments and your great sense of humor. you crack me up,hope the fishing reel speaker grill cover has inspired you as much as you have inspired me through these past few months with all those great builds you have. you are a top notch first class builder in my book.
I bought the little fender amps I mentioned inc another thread.I have to say ,they are worth 3 times what I paid for them.
FENDER AMP new $9.95 ,yep that what I said,,,and worth every penny,so I bought 2.
Thanks Jeff, It has been too much work. Ready to get back to wood and things I have tools for.lol That steel bedrail neck about got the best of me. Not quite as cool as the Harley bow, but I'm proud of it.( Or i will be after I repaint it in a month or so).lol. Rock on !

Thanks , she is kind of cute.lol . I've been trying to stick with mostly electrical parts for this build challenge. When I got to looking at the parts I had on hand ,it just kind of fell together that way.
BTW I love that reso banjo you built.
Rock on,
-Dave
Hey thanks for the idea. I'll take a look at the Honeytone amp and see how it shapes up.I have several boxes that are the perfect size to use for amps.
Thanks Jeff , But I should be thanking you for sending me to Lee Hardware :-) I sure found a lot of go stuff there that Lowes doesn't have . It was a fun build and with all that metal it has quite a tangy resonator sound . Love that Padron What did you use for fret markers? Looks great!! Again Thanks
Jeff,Went to Lee Hardware today and they had just what I was looking for and a LOT of stuff I wasn't that I hadn't been able to find (like small brass latches) Thanks for the help. How the hell did you find them so quick, You must work for Stanley :-) Would love to see some more of your art work, I'm impressed !!! Thanks again, Robert
Jeff ,Thanks for the info on the brass corners , all we have where I live is a Wal-mart and a Lowes nither one carries them . Let me know when you post a video of that Bow .Looking forward to hearing it . Thanks again
Man I love that Diddley Bow!!!! I'd love to hear it .. You really build some FINE stuff.I really like the looks of that amp. Where do you find all those brass parts ? I've been looking all over for those corner plates , can't find them anywhere . Fantastic job on all your stuff........ Be Proud and keep on keeping on !!!

JStoltz,
Thanks for the kind words on my builds. I really like your work as well, your "Black Magic" build really is cool. Keep up the good work and God bless.
thats funny i was about to do the same thing with a mini fender tone master and put it in a little pine box (from my big muff pedal)ill put up a pic when i get it done . the mini fender cost me 50$ though ,i think the danelectro you used is a bit cheaper isnt it?your little amp has a real classic lookto it ,you chose a good box.
Hello JStoltz,
Thanks for the compliment. Nothing behind the sound holes, just the white underside of the lid showing through. I'm new to this cigar box instrument thing and hope to learn from the masters.
