Hi John i use it on the top side ,did not try it on the bottom yet, becouse it stay's better on top, try it out its easy use as much open chords possible, if you use full chords (all Tree or four strings) you don't hear the rattle from the vibrating paper. if it does not work i can record a playing sample for you if you like ! greeeettssszzz A.D.

Thanks John for the kind comments. The guitar neck is poplar with a red oak finger board. The body of the guitar and amp is made out of scrap fencing and ply-wood from an old pet transport box. The amplifier circuit uses an LM386. My playing is coming along slowly as I have never used a slide before, but I will persevere until I get it right. Been listening to your songs, just love that kind of music.

Picked the 6 string up at a swap meet broken. I have improved it a bit with twin Humbuckers, sounds real nice now :)

Yes You are right John, Normaly the box wood will bee to thin But this time the Oak wood box is about 6-7 mm so there was room enough!
