Sounds good, Ron. I'm out of commission for a couple days myself. Stuck a box cutter through my right index finger this afternoon. I was on a customer site so it was a job to get myself patched up without having to file an accident report. 4 bandages and a nitrile glove!
That's funny. I knew I heard Zep influences in there! These last couple batches of instrumentals have really made me think about the possibilities of opening up the fretboard and I'm starting on my own. So thanks for the inspiration and keep em coming...
The title idea came from the desire to sort of pass the riff around rather than everyone playing over top of each other. The inspiration is thinking what if three CBG players met on the same subway platform and played the same instrumental tune taking turns. Not sure that idea will catch on for a collaboration though. I'd like to think someday it would be possible on a Boston T platform. We'll see.
Keep the original, "extended cut" of missing link. Good office groove or, like you said, running tune.
BTW, mega blister on my ring finger is finally hardening over. I can almost play normal again. I'm thinking of changing the title of my collab project to "Don't Bogart that Riff". Whaddaya think?
Hogfather great melody/s, Oily. Sounds like something from era of Fitzwilliam Virginal book, with a crossover of German folk music, and Morris Dance music. Just ma humble opinion lol Nice one
Yo Oily- Sweet picking on both of these tunes. Gandy Dancer captures a train feel for sure and the tone on Graverobber is right on. You have some fast fingers.

Both of these new tunes are great. Gypsy Caravan is impressive. It might be your Stairway to Heaven.
