No worries; wasn't tryin' to wind you up. Was just more commentary for understanding of the process. I found it very frustrating this time, because I was trying to rush and get it done before my Missus got back, keep the dogs from barking at just the wrong moment, and trying not to answer the phone. I don't get more than a coupla odd hours together during the week in which to do these, so it's catch as catch can. I need a basement man cave or outhouse. Unfortunately, no can do here.

Yeah, I took your last comment to heart about trying to get the balance right. The vocal distortion you're referring to is partially a function of the Telephone effect I applied to it for an old-timey sound, and partly me being a mushmouth, after singing this too many times in a row. My second attempt was better, until right near the end. This is about my 6th vocal attempt. Oh, well.

BTW, on a happier note, I had a wee nip last night of somethin' I laid down myself a years ago - mmmmmmmm. Creamy vanilla and caramel notes. Tasted like a good Bourbon. Will raise a glass to ya and Townes tonight. The rain's just started back up a coupla minutes ago, so I doubt my son's baseball practice is on for tonight. May just have to settle in with Miz Oily and listen to it rattle the tin roof :-).

All I ask is that whichever Townes song you do, 1) play it on CBG, and 2) make it yer own. No deadline as yet, contribute it when you can, and when you feel it's right. I am hoping to get the compilation outin the next coupla months or so.

Swahili is much easier than Glaswegian.
