Hi Keni Lee! Thanks to accept my invitation. Do you have any specific material about fingerstyle? I find some difficulties to learn this technique, so I think I need some advice from an expert. Thanks again, Tom.

Keni Lee, I am glad you enjoyed the podcast. As far as professional production, it's just me, an old mic, and audacity software on a 13 year old Dell in the cold, damp coal room under my front porch. But I am honored that you thanks it sounded that good. My next episode is gospel on cbg, I know that is right up your alley so send me a track if you want and I will post links to your sites. Thanks, Joker

Well, I've got to say that I'm extremely jealous of your Jam Box. I haven't been building for too long but the list of "to-do" projects is as long as my arm. Thanks for your videos on here. I've got a good deal of theory background (I'm a music teacher) but its always good to see what licks people are playing. Who knows, maybe I'll post one before long.

So its a JAM box...I still think that's pretty fitting. Did you build it yourself? Are the guts prefab (sound well, etc) or home made?

Keni Lee,
Thanks for the invite.
Your music and videos have been a big inspiration to be a part of this wonderful hobby.
I'm putting together a new guit as we speak. Maybe I'll make a video of this one.
Thanks again,
Niels

Hi Keni,

Nice of you to drop in! I bought one of your instruction DVD's a while ago and it was a great introduction to slide. I've been playing and building CBG's for a couple of years now and hardly ever play my regular guitars anymore. I'm still amazed how good these wee CBG's sound.

Thanks for all the great information you've made available and I'll certainly join your new group.

Hi Keni,
Yes I`d love to contribute to your idea with a video of `how to play`...

I do a bit of mandolin playing and banjo too, which I have also made instruments to play, so maybe they would be of some help to your project...

I dont have any thing much to offer but I will definatly be checking in, some of my issues would be tuning for a 4 string and picking techs, I more or less make it up as I go along, some sound good some sound not so good, but its all in fun for me not so serious. it would be nice to get better though

G'Day Kenni
Sounds like a good Idea. Unfortunately I can't play a guitar myself, I can build them 4 so far, sold one, my son who can play has got one and I have got two to play around with, have built three lap dulcimers, and my son gave me an old Fender accoustic guitar about 1966 vintage to fix and keep and I can,t play any of them ... at the moment? but I will keep on trying.

Cheers

Thanks for the heads up and the invite. I am just starting out with CBG playing and building myself although I do play other instruments and enjoy playing and listening to the blues and to slide guitar in 60's and 70's rock such as Allman Brothers, early EC, Joe Walsh, Lynyrd Skynyrd and others. I also enjoy listening to real old-time blues guys like Robert Johnson and early Muddy Waters and don't forget Champion Jack Dupree.

OI plan to watch your videos especially on how to tune and play 6 string guitars for slide since I own a couple. I bought my 3-string CBG from Roger Martin in Gatlinburg, TN and he had one made out of a three-bottle wine wooden gift box that had a bigger sound then most of the smaller CBGs I have heard and I though of getting one og those wind boxes to use for a 6 string project of my own. That way, I can tune it open without messing with tuning regular guitars back and forth. And the larger box would better support the larger neck width hopefully both from an aesthetic and from and acoustic perspective.

So, when I have some video to post, I will consider your group, and in the meantime I will use it as a reference!

Thanks for the invite,
Rawl
