Andries thanks for the comment here's how it works, but it now has cymbal 1930's style on back of drum with 2x double pedals heel and toe and tie wrap hitter... bamboo hitters are great for snare i can almost do a roll now lol.. but I have conditioned myself so now cant play a guitar without both feet now going! lol
Thanks for the insight into the peat house.... my dads side of the family is Dutch (as is my last name) & the other side of my heritage is Irish... I recall dad's Uncle Clyde Bixler only speaking his native tongue most of the time... really like the photos of the peat house.... gonna have to build one of them some day.
Yes I thought something is up ! The delay or "lag" is shocking just navigating the site. It's a pain in the butt , so I'm glad I subscribed to your You Tube channel . Have you looked at a website called Discogs? Your tapes from the 80's & 90's were on there a while back, someone wanted £200 for one !
"Stoked" is a term I believe originated in California Surf Culture and on the TV programme "American Pickers " ,the guys frequently use the terms"dude" and "stoked" . "Stoked" meaning "fired up" / "enthused" / "excited about" .... Cheers A.D. keep up the good work. P.S. I found about some earlier tapes you did a long time ago on Discogs. Is there somewhere on line we can hear ??
Thanks for the comments AD. It was one of those things that just popped into my head and written in a few minutes. I wish that would happen to me more often! I try to keep my mouth shut most of the time, but yes, this was a situation that got me a little hot under the collar.
You are welcome, Andries. Always enjoy listening to your stuff. This is one of my new ones, but didn't post it here since no CBG content :) https://youtu.be/tuEc3FRDk0o
Hey Andries , you are most welcome. I always find your tunes & vids compelling. It's hard to forge your own style and everything you do is so you. Thanks for the info on Boo Hanks... LOL a Jugs man ?! Sorry if my English humour doesn't tranlate ;-) I like Dom Flemons, he's a great musician . Cheers my friend :-)
Hey Andries. I was going to post my flute info via photos of book pages. The photos look small and hard to read. I want to send you the info via snail mail. Please message me your address And I'll mail away. :^) .. Dave
Hi Andries, I do have an old DeArmond sound hole pickup. I got it when in art school way back in the day for my Harmony Sovergn. I took off the chord and had the pickup restored. It's pretty nostalgic to me. Be kind of hard to part with. I'll look in my pup bin and see what else I've got. :^)

Hi Andries, you are welcome! Number 3 is George Harrison, you mentioned him in your video intro. Donovan knows all about that! Cheers!
One more time? :)

You are very welcome Andries. Enjoyed the video and your fine playing (as always) and that was definitely the vibe I was hearing! :)
Eye candy in the man cave is correct. The Sachs is cool. They were rare in my part of the US. From age 16 to 40 I was motorbike then motorcycle crazy.

Hey !
Well, 99% of my "tunes & lyrics" are rather "R" rated, but maybe someday soon I can post something in the "PG" level :-)
