You're welcome. I see that you put a lot of thought and work into your videos and display artwork.

I couldn't find the Blues guy that recorded it first, but i did find a "Ruth Etting that recorded it in 1931 to 1937.http://www.qobuz.com/gb-en/album/easy-come-easy-go-original-recordings-1931-1937-ruth-etting/3610152200332

Absolutely! I took it as sincere, and a healthy wish for Uncle. I liked the focus on the tadpoles, and ran with it.

Hey there AD. I don't know if you saw my latest video (Ramones cover) but I think you'd dig it. I used a homemade drone box made with video game oscillators for the background noise.

That's a neat and clever thing to do with the copper hinge.  I like the body colout too.  It's very kind of you to say Andries, I have had some very nice comments on my builds... which I greatly appreciate.  I think I need to start building another one ha, ha.

thanks A.D. this is a six string. short, 23'' scale. i'd like to use heavier strings, but.....may be too tight, standard tuning for a six string short scale? aedgbe? i'll check out your blog, thank you. still need to figure out your hardy curdy thing. i see the buttons on the side, but......it does seem similar to a music box? just need some time to really check it out. i assume the strings are plucked bu those "rods", what is on top that actually plucks the strings? i've wanted to make some sort of git like that. i have to send you some pics of my unusual musical instruments. just hard to contact you. can you send me a message, and i can reply, off the main grid......

Andries,

I know what small shops are like.  Mine is about big enough to hold my six foot long workbench and have room to work at one side.  There is not much room for tools & parts storage, but I like to be there.

Hi Andries, Sorry about the delay in answering your comment as I was on a week long Road Trip in this great country down under, Yes!, #329 is all free recycled Australian Hardwood, all the lettering is Wood Burning and the Pictures are Laser Printer Polycrylic transferred, Frederick is my Great-Grandfather, obviously of Indigenous Australian Heritage, and all my Headstocks have a Ring Hole in them for practical storage.
Cheers and thanks for taking the time to look and Comment :-)
