Thanks on the tenor tuning.  They sure are fun and I am considerably better on 4 than on 6.  Plus it is easier on arthritic hand.

Hi Andries! I liked moviemaker too and was bummed when they stopped supporting it. I am still learning Shotcut, but it is free (!) and has lots of features. Here is a link: Shotcut

Thanks Andries! Yeah, I can build 'em,  that comes pretty easy, unfortunately the playing doesn't. Hopefully I'll get up to your level in a few more decades.  : )

Thanks Andries. I am enjoying the Winters focus on building and potting. They seem to feed my muse. You sure are doing great things. Those slot heads on your guits are great! Your recent videos are very nice. I like watching you play. Keep it coming Friend.

I have a collection of most types of slides Andries, my favourite is a very heavy thick walled Brass Slide, the Bamboo Slide sounds interesting, will have to look into that one :-)

Yes Andries, #310 is my version of a Jawari/Sitar Bridge, it and the Nut are “Marble”, and they both work very well!, It’s only a 3 String because that’s what I find is the easiest for me to play, thanks you for the tuning hints, they have been duly noted, and will experiment further, started off playing around with Open E, Open F & Open E, tunings, But!, at the moment it’s back on the Work Bench having a Sound Hole & different Scratch Plate added, and a Colour Change to the Timber, Cheers & Thanks for the Tips! :-)

Hi Andries, thank you for the kind comment my friend! Back Deck guitars name came from me doing the final set-up and some soldering on the back deck of our house for the first few cbg's I made. Plus I like sitting on the back deck and playing music in the summer and fall. Dylan has so many songs and that one is over 50 years old and he still plays it live. Thanks again & Happy New Year and music making in 2018!
