Tuners fitted and lid cut to size

Box trim/headstock

Box trim being glued and headstock cut. Needs tyding up tomorrow when the last two sides of the box trim will be glued. Bought a draw saw off amazon to do the headstock cutting and was suspicious as I couldn't see a country of origin. Turned out to be Chinese crap and was blunt before I finished cutting it out. I'm thinking of using a router for the next two.…

First build

Lesson 1: Not all cigar boxes are the same size. Bought this one on e bay without checking. Timber from local merchant and all parts purchased from a UK supplier. Total cost about 60 quid. I'm hoping a couple of pizzos will produce some sound 20231221_130207.jpg…
