Lesson 1: Not all cigar boxes are the same size. Bought this one on e bay without checking. Timber from local merchant and all parts purchased from a UK supplier. Total cost about 60 quid. I'm hoping a couple of pizzos will produce some sound 20231221_130207.jpg20231221_130220.jpg Also discovered there is a rip in the base which I intend to cover with PVA glue. I will reinforce the inside with the trimming from the fret board and the corners with some soft wood I have lying around

Hi, you will get sound, the challenge comes when searching for a decent, pleasing sound in both tone and volume.
