Thanks for the comments! The "spider' is: 3/16x1/8" cold roll steel (leftover from truss rods) brazed around a washer. A screw goes through the bridge, spider and lid, tightening with a lock washer and nut. The screw pulls the center of the lid to the bottom of the spider tightening it, this is how to tune it to a specific resonant frequency, just like a Dobro! There are different lids! You need the one with the raised bead for the spider to sit on. The pickup is a Seymour Duncan lipstick. Handmade brass tailpiece, Koa neck, Bubinga fret board, Pink Ivory nut. Grover tuners. VIVA LA NATION!!!

Matty... Love the paint can lid resonator. Do you have any pics with the box open? I'm really curious to build a reso... And the lipstick tube pup -- I've gotta know more about that too. Dig your work man.
