I've been lurking these forums for a while now and am impressed by your cigfiddles. I've been building and repairing electric guitars and basses for almost 6 years and just recently got into cigar box instruments (currently working on a cigar box mandolin and have built one 3-string guitar in the past). I had a couple of questions about your cigfiddles, if you don't mind me asking: First, do they have a truss rod? I know a lot of CBGs don't as the string tension is usually lower than a conventional acoustic guitar, but your necks aren't just an oak 1x2 so I couldn't help but wonder. Secondly, what kind of scale do you use for your cigfiddles?
