This is a tradicional Portuguese instrument.

Not yet finished (finish is being applied).

Top is Stika spruce, arm is bloodwood and pau ferro, back and sides pau ferro, fingerboard and tailpice ebony, rosetet is olive wood, oak bindings.

Thanks Uncle John. It has been quite a labour, but an exciting project. I even had to do all the blueprints from some net info a pictures.

Its the first of a very long project, making at least one piece of all the tradicional string instruments from Portugal.

here is the list of all of them except the Cavaquinho, that is not on that list.

Very nice,  Paulo.  Had not seen you for  a while.  This project must be keeping you busy.   I like it all, but especially the mustache bridge.   I listened to the video.  Beautiful.
