Thanks Eric.  I spent most of last summer working on the barn and finally got it all closed in and floor poured this spring.  I grew up on a farm so the carpentry wasn't too much of a challenge, but I could have used some hands to hold the other end of the board.

 

I accepted some help from friends for putting up the trusses.  I had a friend help with the posts, but they were too heavy for him to heft overhead.  So he go the easy end and I put the ~200 lbs up in the air.  My wife was an exceptional help with the building where she could, but largely she kept the kids out of the way.
