Glad ya like it Sumner, thanks! Yeh the jaw gives it a nice low end, I glued the teeth before I mounted the jaw to the git so when it was played it wouldn't rattle the teeth loose.

Thanks for the tip on Whitening. I'll try that. I like the old yeller bone look though. My bones look ancient. I'm going to try sanding one of them to see what that does. It will take off some of the sharper bumps on the bone. Maybe it's whiter in there...

Can't wait to see some relic bone builds Dave, I soak the bones in Hydrogine peroxide to whiten them up a little.

You inspired me Maddog. We have a box of old relics found when we dug out the old foundation under our 100 year old home to replace the stumps she was set down on. There are some cool ol bones in there. I've washed up a couple of leg bones and a cut big bone. They sure have patina. Keep that Colt handy. I've got an old bullet to use on a diddley bow build for the bridge. It's a big caliber. That's my next project. A box guitar or diddley. I've got some nice pickups to try out from Ted Crocker's "Down Under" and Elmar's "Flat Pups".

Thanks Dave, I actually found the deer skeleton back in the woods in the little backwater at the top left of the picture. Usually all sorts of animal parts back in the woods, been seeing a few Mountain Lion tracks also so I've been carrying my Navy Colt 45 with me. Pays to play it safe.
