I like the sound hole... very artistic. I was thinking of cutting a pair of f-holes, but instead of "f"s, I'd cut a pair of dolphins oriented as though they were jumping out of the water, and facing each other. Welcome to use the idea.

Thanks Crow. I reckon Im going to have to take the strings off. Your the 3rd person to mention papering the inside.

it looks great, but the actual cost could be decided by how it sounds too. if you posted a video it'd help for our suggestions. i'd say any functional CBG should go for around $100, less if it's either primitive style or does not sound very good. i'd say more than $100 if it has a special look or build or just plays particularly well..

this one is semi primitive, but only by the way of finish. the build style is certainly advanced! lots of work in the sound hole.. tapered neck.. fretted... special tail piece..

if that sounds even halfway decent, i'd say start your price at least at $150, if you can really play it and wow someone, you could ask 2-3 hundred. that sound hole has a lot going for it. you should really lighten the inside of the box with paper or paint to really make it stand out though..

nice CBG!!!!!

Hi folks. I wanna try to sell this CBG, but dont know what one would be willing to pay for it. How much do you think I should ask? What would you be willing to pay?

Dude! Sand paper the mofo off your wood! Labels have to be attached with Elmers DILUTED with water until it's no thicker than buttermilk. Ha, ha! I have a black belt in putting on labels (axes with labels -- 100, axes ready to play 1).
Tracy. if I'd frigged up a kalimba or A-frame guitar, I'd be pounding my head on the floor. On a CBG, I'd say "dang thing!" and go for the sand paper.

funny you say that Alan. I made a lable for it. I spread a little elmers on it, laid it in place. As I tried to smoth it out, it shreded.

About the only thing I'd add is a piece of paper guled to the back, behind your sound hole. You need a lable, and it would make the mano stand out more. Is it too late?
