Hi Strat.. It's a flanger tuner that came w/the cb gitty guitar. numbers range fro 430-450...letters come up next to it..those I believe are the notes...Just G,A,B,C are represented...No D or F..(by the wat you can set the numbers on it..there are 2buttons on the back.

Shane will be back at the tavern on October. I think he may still be in YORK pA.   I originally wanted to buy one from him at the Tavern. There were 3 in the window..for sale..but I liked one on the wall.  2 other people display guitars there. He doesn't sell off the wall unless he has a replacement. I'm not an EBAY fan so I went to CB gitty and I LOVE this guitar. I have afeeling I'll be owning more than just one CBG,

About your tuner...3-digit number?? On the side?? What kinda tuner is it? Is it possible that you're seeing something like "440?" That would mean the A reference note is tuned to standard concert pitch. Many digital tuners, even the cheapest, allow you to have dial in a reference A frequency anywhere from 436 - 442 Hz (hertz).
This is mainly so you can handle Baroque or Renaissance tunings, when gut-stringed instruments we're designed for less tension, and lower tunings. Or so the theory goes.

Or maybe your tuner is also showing each string tuned to its proper frequency in Hz; a few also do that.

Or it's a tuner model number.

So uncle John..it sounds great...I went to your site and played along with you...it was fun. I learned guitar in 3rd grade and eventually played in the stage band in high school.  So long ago and I had forgotten everything after I stopped playing in the late 70's. Was never a great sight reader..even on the clarinet. I made up my own parts in stage band. Use to sing ad play a little gospel too. Last year got the itch to play and bought an espensive "alvarex 2 pickup" but couldn't get into it.Then I found out about the CBG's and Shane's Speals tavern is 10 min from me. when this guitar arrived yesterday it was already tuned. I FELL right into it.

Never mind about the amp...I just switched batteries...turns out the dollar store one was better than the energizer...lo..thanks guys..

Glad you got it tuned.  How's it sound?   Wish it was easier to help on line.   Kind of hard to do.  What strings you use make a difference in what you tune to.  What stings did you use?

also...got my battery in amp...light comes on but no sound when hooked to the guitar.

Thanks but what is the 3 digit number on the side about?  at times the tuner turns green...meaning its in tune. I just went to a site and tuned it from a video w/ a guy named meade. It's in tune now but my tuner doesn't show green

Thanks..can someone help? I've never used an electronic tuner.and...the amp lights up but no sound
