Hi Paul, I made a uke very similar to this one. I'm Having some trouble getting it to tune correctly. I used suprano strings even though its a tenor. I sent for some nice black tenor strings. Hopefully that will correct it.
I used a bolt on mahogany neck. It may be that the box is warping under string tension. I did reinforce it but maybe not enough. Hows this one play? Looks great. chuck
