The lid is most definitely warped but it doesn't buzz or rattle at all. The mild opening actually acts like a sound hole. It has a really cool sound.

I like the old fashioned and simple look of this. The box looks warped and a bit damaged. Hoping it doesn't rattle on ya. Hw does it sound?
