Thanks but I can't take credit for neck. It's a neck that somebody else started and gave up on then sold on ebay. It just needed some  fret work and a spit-shine. The truss rod must not have worked because they put in a screw alongside the nut, to lock it in place it seems. But with the truss rod cover in place... out of sight, out of mind.

It's made from one piece of wood but I don't know what kind of wood. It's much deeper red in person than the pic shows and the wood is the same color all the way through, it's not stained, and it's a very "waxy" wood. My internet search leads me to believe it's cumaru heartwood,

But for my $15.42 winning bid... I certainly can't complain. : )
