The plague of squirrels eh, Think of all the Swamp Witch guits that could have been... Glad i've only got 4 squirrels. I got a new bag of peanuts today though. Cheap insurance.

Oh man!  A squirrel cut sound hole!  Now that's waaaay outside the box thinking!   I love it!   

One year when I was a kid on the farm, we had a winter with a huge amount of snow and extra cold.   Dozens of squirrels attacked our grainery and gnawed holes all around any small crack, door and spot they could find.  It was like the whole side of the building was moving at times, there were so many.   It took a lot of old license plates to patch it up afterwards!  ;-}  JP

I've been looking for a robin Uncle John, none yet... I've got about 35 pigeons and 4 squirrels on a regular basis. I've been thinking about a squirrel carved sound hole. I'll make a box and fill it with peanuts. Drill one small hole in the spot for the hole and let things develop. My squirrels will be on the project in a flash. We'll see.... Happy Springtime. ... Great and pretty idea, Dave.   The turkey vultures and red wing black birds got to Iowa last week.
