In reference to the above comments I made about the string retainer, I thought I'd add this pic from my previous build to illustrate the set-up I like to use. I took this pic as I was doing the final tweaks and adjustments, and should make things clear. I believe doing it this way makes for a neater appearance, and more importantly evens out the tension on the string, which together with the self lubricating nylon bush eliminates string 'stiction', which is more likely if you have a 'veed' angle on the string either side of the retainer. Probably a bit OTT, but what the heck.....I like fiddling with the details and I think it all adds up....that's what I tell myself, anyway.....! :-))
