I lived in southeast Ohio for a time and i did like the winters there. Gardening was good in Ohio. Too hot though....

Us northerners don't mind winter too much. That's when we hunker down and sit by the fire. I play a lot in winter. Music has a chance to take my time. No TV, no paper, I play instead. I'll make lots of pots also. I work on "Empty Bowl" from Jan. to April.....

Thanks Wes, it was like summer yesterday, Winter today. Blustery beautiful harvest day. And the stew was fabulous. Potatoes, cabbage, Scarlet runner beans, Kentucky wonder beans, garlic, onions, parsley, rutabaga, carrots, Delacatta squash, chicken and hamburger. Oh boy...
