I wouldn't want to duplicate your sound that would be like haveing a store bought guitar. But I understand what your saying. I think personally that this is one of the best styles I have seen simple good looking and rough edged. LOL

your  "simple to  build"  evaluation ,  i  hope you  realize ,   comes   after  much   unseen planing , changing  , test  flights ,  and  knowing what    works , and sounds  best .

there  is alot more  to  these  swamp~ witch "elder "    guitars  than meets the  eye . ;-)

  if you ever hear one in person,  or play one  .. you'll  know what i  mean .

you    will be hard pressed to  duplicate  that sound   and result .

I can't believe this, I had an idea for a rough edge guitar that I wanted to build. But not to good with building this is perfect. I love this idea as it fits my skills. I would use a double piezo pickup bridge. Like how it's so simple to build. Would fit my design a poor mans Le Paul. lol
