I read a great suggestion in here about frets to glue down, I think from Dianne (forgive if I'm wrong). It was brass cotterpins, cut in 1/2 and glue the flat side down.

The bridge is glued to the neck and the body, I wedged it in there. It's a nice thick sound, definitely not thin. I haven't tried thicker strings yet, when it needs new ones, I might use the EADG instead of ADGB. I'm not concerned about the higher string tension either, the bloodwood is SOLID and tough stuff.

How well does the bridge transfer sound to the top?

Right now the frets are just penciled in, haven't figured out what I'm doing yet. The bloodwood is some thick, dense stuff, not sure if I want to try cutting into it. Because it is slide-only, I'm not too concerned about putting *real* frets on it. I'm open to suggestions for something I can put on top of the fingerboard without having to cut it!
