DIY pickup winder

DIY pickup winder

Beta version of DIY guitar pickup winder kit housed in a cigar box.
24v geared motor at 500 rpm.
Custom circuitry.
Digital counter.
Forward/Reverse switch.
Bobbin size up to 3.5 inches, attach the bobbin with double sided tape.
Optical sensor pointed at the rear of the black disk attached to the bobbin holder.
I will be adding a bolt to use as a wire tensioner and tidying up the wiring and circuit boards.

This was Don's project, I was just sort of the beta tester. I don't recall if I finally compiled a parts list or not. So, I guess the answer is no, there is no kit to sell. Sorry.
