cheers guys, this was made from parts scavenged from peters workshop when he down sized houses, the amount of tools he had was amazing (3 welding kits????) but no table or band saw!
the box is actually an old nail box he had

the steel was an excellent fix, and looks cool, too. I used to use cotter pins, and they do make you play sharp - and not in a good way!

uses split pins for frets, but these were to high and you ended up bending the note a semi-tone if you held it too hard, so ended up adding the steel to the fret board. works good.
