Today I drilled for the tuners, cut out for the humbucker, made an oak trim piece for that, made an oak saddle, drilled for the voulme, tone and input jack. Depending on how the fretboard goes I may be able to play it in just a few more days.

Comment by Burt Philbrick on February 27, 2016 at 4:18pm: Cigar box guitar build number 2, getting ambitious now! This one will be an electric 3 stringer with a fretboard. Maple neck, reversed headstock, oak fretboard and I'll be using finish nails for the frets. I have a humbucker for it,the pots and a jack. I'll install that stuff after it's a bit further along. Nothing is glued here, just dry fit.
