Hope you can escape The saw Bones. It could take away your play for pain. Not worth it. Slide those chainsaw days away. Drone on! Make guits and play them.

I hear you mate my hand is getting better but slowly I think the doctors had to really pull a hat out of there rabbit to fix it could be a few more months before it’s back to business, did a few days on chainsaw putting big old dead Eucalyptus down very sad to see thousands of trees up n die due to the drought tassie  is the second driest state in OZ took a few days for my hand to come good again so doctors put me back to light duties , I’m now learning how to fly the drones we have that we use to survey the trees with so if I play my cards right I’ll never have to use chainsaw again .

Thanks Bones. I think a reso would be good therapy for the hand. It works like Black Magic!

Oh yes very nice I do like the Regal guitars I have my eye on one at Maccans music I don't have a resonator guitar yet ...sounds great as well Dave I just saw the video .

It sounds real sweet boys. My little fingers are coming back. The fretboard is very dished out so it needs to slide. Yet it still fingers ok, just a hard action. Very low action at the nut as the original bone nut is worn down. It’s beautiful though. I don’t want to replace it. This guit is huge. Like Bear’s tri cone. You need to ride it to play it. I have one other vintage Rezo. It’s a 30’s Hound Dog Dobro. It was their cheap Dobro of the depression era. I’ve had it since art school days back in the 60’s. I’ll show it some of these days. I’ll post a video soon of the Regal. I’ve tuned it Dobro style. DBG,DBG.

Nice, back in this era, Regal was buying all their parts from National to build these guitars. So basically you’ve got a Regal & a National all in one? Great find, I love playing those old resos!

"Sweet Dave", but now I've come down with a bad case of "Regal Jealousy"  :-D
