This is my first reasonably good attempt at making a beer bottle neck slide. I used a circular diamond Dremel blade and kept the bottle neck lubed with water. The chip fell out while sanding on a belt sander. Onward & upward!

I've tried a conventional glass cutter several times but each was a failure. Using the diamond blade I can cut the whole thing. Keep it lubed and just keep working around the neck until it falls off. Takes less than a minute.

hi. How long did it take you to cut this ?. when i do mine i use a glass cuter score round the neck

then heat it up with hot "nearly boiling" water then run it under the cold water tap and it will crack along the score line. then just sand down any sharp edges :-)

Gotta' get a few of my wino friends to save some bottles for me. I'd like straighter necks and heavier.

chips aint so  bad  ..  as long as they are a smooth   and won't  cut you ..  i   kinda   like the  "bar fight  "    look  .. as  i  call   em  ;-)

gives that  false   element  of  "danger"  and hardcore   ;-)
