It’s a burl of unknown tree from a scrap wood pile of Bob Carl’s. He a wonderful wood turner from Minnesota. His pile is at least 20 ft long by 2 to 3 ft high. Accumulated over a lifetime of turning. I’ve now varnished my biscuit with wipe on poly. Amazing little wood puck! Cow bone saddle.

I got a pile of wood turner’s scraps from a pile outside his shop. Beautiful burl hunks, fun to use Brian.
