Comment by Glenn Reither on November 13, 2014 at 1:26am: This box is a bit bigger than a cigar box. For some boxes, a tenor mandolin case might work if you are on a short enough scale.
And you can get tenor banjo cases that aren't this deep too, which would mean only having to pack out the headstock end with foam.
