thanks Knuckles, I had been thinking to get them flat for a while. Flipping the coil was a first step, then I focused on the core and narrow magnets. The rest is the result of experimenting. Yes, they are for sale; check out my homepage, there are several vids and fotos of builds with the flatpup humbuckers.

Crazy, came across this idea while staring at an EBO pickup, 30K plus coils not much larger then a humbucker due to being inverted. I was thinking 1 tenth of the output would be about right for a cbg and one tenth of the size would be perfect.

 

You implemented it in a much more attractive manner then I would have, great work, they sound good too.

 

Are they for sale?
