Build # 24 - A Jazzy Mando

This is a left handed mandolin, made for a good friend of mine. I decided to give it a metal plate under the bridge for bracing, since it worked so well on my Little Demon guitar. It also gives this mandolin a distinct tone, and a fair amount of chop. The angle to the neck allows for some great acoustic volume out of this thing! It sounds great plugged in, too. Definitely the most work I have ever put into one instrument, and it was a great reminder of how much I love building mandolins.!
