This is my first bass guitar. It is a two string cigar box bass, tuned E-A. Gotoh tuners, Cherry neck, large Kristoff box. Sounds real good both acoustic or electric. It has dual peizo elements mounted under maple bridge. I am in the process of winding actual pick-up coils for near the neck but the pickup is not quite together yet. I have already put the wiring in the body and a DPDT switch beside where the neck exits the body at the tail-stock area. Frets are ‘Jumbo’ fret wire. Brass sliding closet door finger pulls were cut and used for sound-hole trim rings. Brass corners on front of box. Strap is from an old nylon tool-tote. This is just too much fun!!
