15" tin-tar, tuned GDg. .22, .13 and .10 strings. "Real" diatonic frets, zero fret nut. Scarf head, 3-on-a-plate tuners. Oak trim bridge.

Dunno how long the neck is, but it measures 15" from bridge to nut. No sound hole necessary in a tin-jo, but I am sure there are those who would disagree. No the top is not glued down, but there might be some electrical tape along the top edge of the bottom of the tin where the lid fits on for a little extra grab -- when you cut the notches the lid fits more loosely and can buzz. Sounds like a cheap banjo -- which it is. The tin is only 6" square, so this is a petite instrument for sure.

that's a gorgeous instrument. I'm confused though, how long is the neck, why is there no sound hole, is the top glued on and what kind of sounds do these make?
