RTL CBG leather bound box

Leather bound cedar box. Hand-carved S holes. I was going for a moccasin look and it has more an element of Frankenstein. It will no doubt weaken the top, so I reinforced the edges inside with hot glue. Will it work? I dunno yet. Anybody else crazy enough to try this?

Comment by Darryl Tuttle on November 25, 2018 at 3:52pm: thats the great thing about building CBGs...no hard and fast rules...if you try something and it doesnt go quite the way you thought it would....no big deal...just take it apart use parts to make another....really want to know how you like this cbg when it is done...think it will be great
