the neck wood is a fence picket from the hardware store, $2..  they call is 'Malas' but im certain its some kinda asian mahogany..   laminated up with pallet ash stringers and a tassie blackwood fingerboard.   the frets are on a funky kinda angle, but theyre all parallel and it was quite deliberate, just an experiment..

nice low action...
