#17 - Spruce top electric 3 stringer [Take 2]

Yup - looks very similar to my last one, this one is for a customer order.

630mm scale, 18 frets, MOP fret markers
Oak neck, American black walnut fretboard
Bone nut, bone & walnut bridge, walnut tailpiece
Generic craft box, which I tore the lid off and replaced with 3.2mm spruce
Handwound single coil pickup (looks like a Crocker DownUnder, but isn't - it's one of mine), alnico 5 magnets, 8000 winds 42awg
Volume & tone control (orange drop cap)
36,22,17 tuned GDg

Thanks John. I find the tone and sustain a little nicer with these, but if could well be subjective :-)

Pretty cool, Richey.  I have thought about getting some spruce tone wood and trying this,  Is the payoff in tone and volume worth it?
