#17 - Spruce top electric 3 stringer [Take 2]

Yup - looks very similar to my last one, this one is for a customer order.

630mm scale, 18 frets, MOP fret markers
Oak neck, American black walnut fretboard
Bone nut, bone & walnut bridge, walnut tailpiece
Generic craft box, which I tore the lid off and replaced with 3.2mm spruce
Handwound single coil pickup (looks like a Crocker DownUnder, but isn't - it's one of mine), alnico 5 magnets, 8000 winds 42awg
Volume & tone control (orange drop cap)
36,22,17 tuned GDg

Yep those are spoke nipples from a bike wheel, I use them as string ferrules as they're much cheaper than the real thing. The strings pass through those, which all pass through a strip of copper tape which is connected to the back of the volume pot. It sounds good and as always I'll be sad to see it go. Will post a vid before I send it on!
