These are my lapsteel's although the first one needs to be finished (waiting on some hardware and finish) and the cbg one is no longer mine, it belong's to a cigarshop owner now for display in his shop. The "normal" solidbody lapsteel

And the Cbg lapsteel with my special style of mounting the box to the neck

I like lapsteel's! They give you a different view of slideplaying and the lack of fretting possibilities makes you find new way's to do stuff, expanding you all round playing. I think evry slide player should own one (.... i made hehehe)

I've built one lap steel so far. I Think i want to put a magnetic pickup in it, but don't want to cut into the lovely old box. I might be able to hide one under the lid.....
