Tim, I have heard some others are having trouble, I am not sure what the problem is though. It might be on your pc,a firewall maybe. The only reason I say that is that I and others have not had the problem, but a few individuals. I will look into it though.
My only issue with doing interviews is that Nix is kind of the interview guy. He and I try to provide what the other one doesn't. What I may do in the future though is interviews from the cbg fests

I tried to subscribe via the mp3 rss feed and it wouldn't work. I also tried to just download the mp3 and that wouldn't work either. Can you check it out and see if that can be fixed? Would love to listen and comment on it. I might suggest you do an interview with some CBG players for future podcasts.

I was part of the one string project and I thought it was great. It allows you to promote yourself and others whos music you like.
i like having it available for when I play shows. It makes me feel like I am promoting the music not just myself. I think that would be cool.

Hey Joker, thanks AGAIN for inviting me along, and GOOD LUCK with the current incarnation of the podcast. To all the fans: "Viddy well, my brothers, viddy well!"

I have thought about makin cd's of the podcast available at fests, but for the most part I try to keep the podcast free. I do it by producing it on a minimum budget. Though I did the one string compilation a few years ago that went over well.
We could do the same kind of thing where we agree on a selling price and all the artists involved get a master copy to make cd's from to sell themselves.

the pod cast would make an awsome compillation cd. The wind through the hang mans noose murder ballads by the members of the cigar box nation. Shane, you and Joker should start a micrlabel and release the podcasts for sale as cds. Just a thought, but man I am on my 3rd listen this morning and it is a satisfying collection of songs.
