Don't worry ShadowChancer, these things are a great addiction. Impossible to build just one. I have 9 or so hanging around and more on the way.

Started my first "self build" today . Learned one thing , the picture in my head and the reality of the materials in hand are two stratospherically different places , already "junked" one box , now I`m on plan B using an old old box I picked up for a tenner on Gumtree . fitting a fretted neck into a slot I`ve cut on the reverse side of the box so the neck sits level with the box top (bottom) . The glue is curing as I write , will post further progress reports as I have them . Settling down to a cool cider and a jam on my bought Slowpaw fretless ( glad I thought of that backup plan , at least I have a guitar to play in the meantime)
