Hey Shadowchance, question on your build which looks great.  Did you still put in a piezo inside the box?  Why did you bail on the volume control you mentioned before?  Was hoping to get a pic of the wiring for all this?

Got a mega build in the pipeline , looking forward to it , like buying and sourcing all the bits about as much as the build , got a corker of a box and went for a pre formed neck and a fretted board (my wood skills don't stretch to that yet)

I just wanted to make a comment about the " GittyMan's"  GigarBox Guitar Manual.

For a bigginer I'm one who needs to ge guided along while building their first guitar.

The booklet he has sure guides you thru every step, which is setup very nicely, and does give you backup on any questions and sends you regular emails on cigarbox building and playing. I found it very uesful quide and answering some of the questions about building. He backs up his booklet, and one that I invested in which surely was happy with. Take a look at his website, He did a great job.

got me most of the makings for my next creation , not sure what box to use or whether it will be a "slider" or a "fretter" , salvaged a fretboard from an acoustic guitar that a junkie smashed up in the street (any source eh ?) gonna be a mag and piezo setup , volume only ,. Got a small box , quite fancy that for low handling noise on the piezo , be a tight fit though , also have a bigger box en route , looks good too , so kinda in a dilemma situation , also have a third box , (that will require a bit of work to sort as it was the first attempt box and its a bit rough) anyway hers some pics of me sketching out ideas (oh and Penny the cat and me in the studio / xmas storage area = coup lol
