So here is the near done Yellow Submarine.  My son's 4th birthday party is tomorrow and that was my deadline.  The bridge is done but is drying...

I've only attached them with a glue gun, really covering the piezo in a thick layer and right under the bridge. Works well, and I've seen others say it reduces feedback.

On my second build. Any recommendations for gluing vs taping the piezo? and/or preferred placement of the piezo?

Hey Papa, A trick I've used when marking wood is to use tailors pattern tracing paper. It's used to transfer the pattern outline onto the fabric. Dark colors work on wood pretty well. I'm sure you could get the exact outline of the hand first try! Just glue the image to the top of the paper and use a ball point pen to trace it.

All you need is glove... err... love.

Here's the movie on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3RFn89G4oU

Watch it before it gets pulled off.

As you can see, the Glove is not a Blue Meanie, but is employed by them to do their thuggery.

The beatles and their yellow submarine are chasing the bad guys right up the neck!

Oh, and I think that is "Glove" you're drawing, not a blue meany :)

I've been surprised by how easily my jeweler's saw cuts thin metal. I go through a few blades each time, but I found them for super cheap at a local beading store. If you look at the wooden "bird's beak" cutting stand and how it is used to cut inlay:

I made one out of scrap and used it to cut some .40 inch brass w/ the saw, made it really easy, no need to clamp the metal.
Otherwise, dremel w/ cutoff wheel and earplugs (seriously, the metal will screech your ears out as it vibrates when cut).

There is no such thing as cheating just creative problem solving.

I guess it would be cheatin' to toss a sheet of graph paper in your printer and print Mr. Glove on it... especially if you then traced that onto graph paper with larger squares...
