Purpleheart headplate and heel cap, gold tuners with knobs matched to headstock. Mahogany neck and fingerboard dyed black and given a matte finish. Piezo pickup hot glued under soundboard.

The second photo shows my mistake partially corrected. I didn't leave enough space for my left hand index finger knuckle when fretting the 1st or 2nd fret. It is easy enough to correct. I just cut down the wing at the bottom. I haven't done the lh side yet in the photo. I will do the same to the lh side just to keep it symetrical.

The first photo shows how the wing would interfere with the hand had it not been modified.

This could be a problem on guitars also.
