I've moved away from Chicago but left my heart there, along with my sons and brothers and sisters - I'd love to be included in Chicago CBG. I grew up on te south side - Roseland - and have lived for more than thirty years on the north side / Rogers Park area.

Bluesheart, I'll be doing the family thing on Christmas day. How long will you be in Chicago?
As far as CBG joints I'd like to know that too, maybe Diane has an idea.

Flying into Chicago on Christmas Day ( now , there is a song in THERE somewhere!) Not going to have much time. Is there a joint that CBGers frequent? Had not planned on taking a CBG with me, but who knows....

Anyone hear of Chicago guitar building school( Specimen ) I built my guitar "El Fuego" there. Learned a lot from the owner did an apprentship for sometime great place.

Goose islander here great to find some peeps that make CBG in city. I'm from Oregon but been here for about 5 years now. I find this to be a great distraction from the city life. Just got 5 coffee infused cb from TESA for nothing so started a small run working the bugs out on #1 and jigs.

This could be fun, I have Sun 27, Tue 29 or Thu 31 (afternoons or evenings) open at present. Any ideas where we could meet and be left alone for a bit (maybe with some decent parking )?
