Welcome aboard, Joe! You will find lots of helpful folks and information here on all things CBG (CBU, CBB, etc.) Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and post your stuff (photos, recordings, videos, etc.).
We love questions. No, really we do. Even the ones that sound silly. If you wanna know some great stuff fast, join Building a Cigar Box Guitar 101, Secrets of the CBG Underground and Ted's Mad Scientist Lab groups. Also look at the free plans under the plans section, as well, we have tons and tons (I think over 14K pictures) of other folks builds.
Don't be afraid to ask questions. It ain't rocket science here and the best thing to remember -- there are no rules on how to build. That is, box size, type, wood to use, strings to use, how many strings. Just look, learn, build. Have fun. That's what its all about.
